Dana Leifer, MD is Associate Professor of Neurology at Cornell University, serves as Director of Neurovascular Ultrasound Laboratory and Director of the Stroke and Neuroscience Step-Down Unit. Dr. Leifer was one of the first neurologists to receive certification in Vascular Neurology. His research focuses on the development of new treatments for stroke patients and using functional MRI studies to track brain activity during recovery. Dr. Leifer authored one of the first practical applications of personalized genetic medicine.
