Dr. Lillemoe is a world-renowned surgeon and leader of one of the top surgical programs in the US. Dr. Keith Lillemoe is the Surgeon-in-Chief and Chairman of Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital and the W. Gerald Austen Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School. He has authored more than 300 journal articles and 115 book chapters, and is editor of a leading surgical textbook Greenfield’s Surgery: Scientific Principles and Practice. Dr. Lillemoe also serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Annals of Surgery. In the past, Dr. Lillemoe has served as President of the Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract, the Society of Clinical Surgery, and the Society of University Surgeons. He now serves as Senior Director of the American Board of Surgery.
