Dr. Tara Henderson is Director of the Childhood Cancer Survivors Center and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics. She specializes in the diagnosis and medical treatment of pediatric cancers and her research focuses on the development of and early screening for second cancers in childhood cancer survivors. Dr. Henderson has published papers on her research in journals such as the Journal of Clinical Oncology, Pediatrics, and Annals of Internal Medicine: Journal. She has also been invited to lecture on the topic of pediatric oncology at medical institutions and conferences around the country. Dr. Henderson is a member of several professional societies including the American Society of Pediatric Hematology Oncology and the Children’s Oncology Group.
