Meet Lulu

Retinal Detachment

Lulu’s mother was experiencing retinal detachment, an emergency situation in which the retina pulls away from supportive tissue in the eye, and needed to a specialist as soon as possible. Due to the complexity and sensitivity of her mother’s condition, Lulu knew she couldn’t go to just any doctor. She wanted to find a qualified local specialist ASAP—but wasn’t sure where to look. Grand Rounds was able to find a local expert for Lulu’s mother who could perform the surgery immediately.

“Grand Rounds took care of me and my mom immediately. They answered all of my questions and I never felt lost…Grand Rounds was able to help us during a very scary moment for my family.”
